TNLS takes this opportunity to wish a happy retirement and good farewell to Eileen Forrester! Eileen will officially retire at the end of 2023! As a co-founder of True North Land Surveying, Inc. in 2003, Eileen served this company and its many clients through her 20 years of dedicated service. She served her clients well through her years of experience and knowledgeable expertise in the field of land surveying. Eileen has a true passion for land surveying and helping others! We appreciate her many years of service to this company and her community. We wish her nothing but the very best in her future endeavors and a very happy and healthy retirement for the years to come!

Jo Miller,  PLS

Hobbies: She enjoys spending her time on the lake kayaking with family and friends.

Favorite Aspect of Surveying: Jo thoroughly enjoys building surfaces, topographic surveys, and construction staking.

Jo has decades of field and office experience with an emphasis on construction staking, environmental surveys, topographic surveys for design, railway, and utility surveys. Jo is responsible for processing, analyzing, and drafting survey data to assist with the creation of all types of land surveys. Her strong work ethic enables her to be comprehensive, judicious, and precise. Her broad and varied surveying knowledge allows her to effectively manage a variety of survey projects of all sizes and scope. Jo is the primary contact for her projects and makes herself readily available to her clients to assist with questions, guidance on the project, and in resolving any issues that may arise with the project.

Christopher Morey, LSIT

Vice President

Hobbies: He likes to spend his spare time working on a various woodworking projects. He also enjoys outdoor activities of camping and fishing.

Favorite Aspect of Surveying: He enjoys finding and researching old survey markers and property deeds. He finds it very satisfying to see the whole picture and final product of a project.

Chris currently has his LSIT and is actively pursuing his PLS in Washington state. He is also an active member of the Land Surveyors Association of Washington. He is committed to staying informed and up to date on the industry standards, changes, trends, and best practices. He has over 10 years of experience in land surveying  primarily retained in the office setting. However, he does have a year of field experience that contributes to his surveying knowledge and expertise. Chris does carry a weightier knowledge and expertise on the drafting side of surveying. With his extensive knowledge on the administrative side, he is aware of what is required to obtain certain permits, recordings, mitigation variances, and the similar and this helps him to be able to guide field crews on all the necessary shots to take in order to ensure the final product complies with all applicable regulations.
